Meet the Team
Johanna Bobb-Semple
Owner & Master Hair Extension Artist
Johanna Bobb-Semple has been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. She started her career as a licensed makeup artist in 2010, and shortly after graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2013 to marry her two passions. She founded her bridal business She Laughs Hair and Makeup in 2013 and won several awards in the wedding industry. In 2018, she decided to hang up her hat in the wedding industry to offer more as a salon owner and her new found love as a Master Hair Extension Artist. She is now certified in several different methods. She currently specializes in weft extension and keratin bond extensions.
She has opened a second location, The Blonde Collective Nashville, in Franklin, TN and travels monthly to take clients.
“Being able to offer a variety of methods for different hair textures and to accommodate different needs for people has relit a fire in me for this industry. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help someone feel amazing about their hair.”
Johanna is constantly growing to give her extension clients the best service possible. When Johanna isn't in the salon, she loves spending time with her husband and three corgis, along with shopping and traveling to new places.
Kayla Brosset
Level 4 Stylist & Educator
With over 14 years behind the chair, Kayla brings both passion and precision to every client experience. Coming from a family of hairstylists, her love for the industry runs deep. After relocation to Baton Rouge to Mandeville in 2022, she’s made a name for herself through her attention to detail and commitment to customized results.
She specializes in precision haircuts, dimensional color, and hair extensions, creating looks like are effortlessly wearable. She holds advanced certifications in IBE, Great Lengths Keratin Bonds and Masters of Balayage, allowing her to offer top-tier extension services,
Beyond the salon, Kayla values time with her family and loves exploring new restaurants with friends.
Alyssa Theriot
Level 1 Stylist & Curl Specialist
Alyssa is passionate about helping her clients look and feel their best, enhancing their confidence and natural beauty. As a proud graduate of Paul Mitchell in Metairie, she stays dedicated to staying ahead of the latest trends and techniques to provide exceptional results. Her favorite services are curly haircuts, blondes and dimensional color. Alyssa believes in treating every client with kindness and creating an uplifting, welcoming experience. Outside of the salon, she enjoys savoring iced coffee and spending quality time with friends, She looks forward to collaborating with you to achieved your hair goals and brining a touch of positivity to your day.
Kathleen Borne
Salon Associate
Kathleen is a passionate hair stylist dedicated to creating lived in color and smooth, healthy hair for clients. Her favorite services are dimensional blondes and brunettes, as well as Brazilian Blowouts, helping her clients to achieve customized looks that fit their lifestyle.
Working alongside her mentor, she travels regularly between locations, including Franklin, expanding her skill level while offering an elevated salon experience to a growing clientele. Together, she and her mentor are currently expanding into their newest venture— learning and mastering custom keratin bond extensions.
Outside of the salon, she values time with her family and new puppies, enjoys trips to Disney, and spending days out on their boat.
Colynn Riviere
Salon Associate
A graduate of John Jay Beauty College, Colynn brings a refined approach to every service, focusing on creating a personalized and elevated experience for each guest. She believes her client’s time her chair should feel both luxurious and effortless. Colynn’s favorite services are flawless blowouts and bright, dimensional blondes. Outside of the salon, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her corgi Briggs, and celebrating a special season of life as she prepare for her wedding later this year. She also love a crisp Diet Coke—because it’s the little luxuries that make everything better. Colynn welcomes every service with intention and care, and looks forward to having you in her chair.
